It is important for bakery products, meat products, and pizzas or frozen vegetables that the blast chilling and blast freezing take place quickly and extremely effectively. Baked pastry, for example, has to be cooled down to -7 °C (core temperature) in only 20 minutes and half-baked products from +65 °C to -10 °C in three hours.

Under the motto “Brew it. K°ool it. Drink it.”, Kelvion will be presenting a wide range of heat exchangers for various stages of the brewing process at the BrauBeviale (Nuremberg, November 13 – 15, 2018). The aim of the MethQuest lead project is to develop environmentally compatible, affordable, and feasible gas technologies for a successful energy transition. In the so-called power-to-gas process, methane-based fuels are produced using electric power generated from renewable energy sources. A total of 27 scientific, industrial and business partners are working on solutions with the potential to significantly reduce the consumption of fossil fuels. Within the framework of the MethQuest project Kelvion is developing a new double tube safety heat exchanger at its Monzingen site.

With its new air cooler, Kelvion shows the creativity potential offered by its three brands Goedhart, Küba, and Searle. In joint development work, three teams have designed a Kelvion KDC Dual Discharge Air Cooler, for commercial refrigeration. Beginning immediately, the Kelvion KDC will replace the Goedhart FC38D, Küba DP, and Searle DSR cooler ranges.
