These GK models are designed, for example, for application in heat pumps, refrigeration systems, chillers, thermal storage water heaters, and district-heat transfer stations. In comparison to conventional heat exchangers, the models GK770, and GK550 (the last of which is available in two versions) offer a number of benefits. Thanks to optimized heat transfer, the units are smaller and require lower investment and operational costs. All models in the GK series have completely new plate design, which combines the advantage of chevron corrugation patterns with the high-level performance of concave-convex corrugation in the turbulence zone. This optimized design assures uniformly distributed heat flow and satisfies a prerequisite for excellent heat transfer. Lower pressure drops furthermore lead to reduced energy requirements for the entire system. The ConBraze series, optimized for high-level performance, offers further benefits: a compact design and considerably reduced refrigerant content.
