Product portfolio of the EcoFlex NT series is rounded off by a small model
17. September 2013 GEA Heat Exchangers will exhibit at drinktec, at Munich fairgrounds, from September 16 to 20, 2013, at hall A4, stand A4.314
With its new plate heat exchanger, the NT25M, GEA Heat Exchangers has rounded off downward the portfolio of its proven EcoFlex NT series (DN50 to DN500). The NT25M especially takes into account the requirements of the food and beverage industry. As a result, this new model is not only highly effective with low-viscosity media such as milk, beer, soft drinks, and vegetable oils, but also with liquids of high viscosity such as mustards, sauces, and concentrates. These capabilities became possible owing to the further-developed, innovative EcoFlex NT plate geometry. As a result of the dimensions and the connection diameter of DN25, this model – the smallest heat exchanger in the NT series – is designed particularly for application in production plants with low media throughput, as well as in laboratories and test facilities. The frame and the plate package consist of stainless steel. If required, the components coming into contact with the product are manufactured from higher-quality materials. As for all models in the EcoFlex NT series, plate packages can also be assembled as needed in multi-stage configurations, with up to 400 plates.
Users of the new NT25M profit from the characteristics of the EcoFlex NT series: e.g., the reliable con-nection of the plates by PosLoc locking technology, as well as OptiWave design. Even for the smallest flow rates, the NT25M offers a high degree of heat recovery and is easy to clean owing to its structural design.
The NT25M is available immediately. The narrow-gap variation NT30M is also available.
