What will you do:

  • Inspecting the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
  • Developing and implementing inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections
  • Preparing and scheduling training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics
  • Monitoring compliance with safety procedures
  • Maintaining records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required
  • Drafting inspection reports to document inspection findings
  • Developing health and safety procedures for all areas of the company
  • Ensuring that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed
  • Implementing preventive HSE guidelines to find potential flaws, finding the root causes and defining corrective actions
  • KPI reporting
  • Checking and verifying the implementation of local health and safety actions
  • Responsibility for keeping Czech legislation - regular checks  and implementation corrective measures
  • Representative for Czech competent authorities in responsible area 


  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; Master’s degree desirable
  • Five years of related experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections
  • OZO BOZP condition, OZO PO advantage
  • Czech – C1, C2
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • B2 level of English as minimum - spoken and written skills
  • Physical ability to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections (Up to 25 pounds at a time)
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Willingness to travel as needed
