The purpose of the Industrial Engineer is to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives in order to eliminate waste using TPMS and other Lean tools; to ensure all work instructions are current ; conduct routine audits to ensure that training logs are kept current; maintain plant layout documents; serve as the Engineering representative for the plant Safety Committee; implement Ergonomic improvements; conduct time and motion studies to align labor standards with actuals; justify Kaizen activities and manage Kaizen meetings.
