Machine Operator- EOL test

POSITION PURPOSE

The primary responsibility of the EOL test operator is to test the functionality of the finished product using an electrical testing machine. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with the ability to work with minimal supervision and cooperate in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read, understand, and follow routings and work instructions.
• Successfully complete training per requirements of company training program.
• Operate EOL tester to perform production operations.
• Identify improvements of methods that will increase quality and profitability.
• Assist other employees in setup and operation functions as needed.
• Understand and comply with all facets of the Health and Safety Program.
• Read basic Manufacturing Drawing / Prints.
• All other duties as assigned
   

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills and abilities)

• Self-motivated, reliable and can work without much supervision
• Good analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Exhibits good interpersonal skills, team building and leadership characteristics
• Must have the ability to become company-certified in overhead crane usage. Company cranes are controlled remotely from the ground.
• Be able to deal with change and respond quickly to a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Have good oral skills              
                                                 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Prior exposure to lean-Manufacturing environment preferred
   

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to bend, lift, stand repetitively throughout the day
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to work with hands on tedious operations
