This position coordinates shop floor scheduling, capacity planning, and parts availability to meet target product delivery requirements. Strong organization and communication skills are required to be effective.
Outside : Vendors, Sales Agents, etc.
Inside: Communication with shop floor employees, quality, production leaders, engineering, sales and finance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Good communication and people skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to comprehend quality work instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to read in and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to ask leading questions to stimulate self and others in developing alternatives.
Basic shop math. Ability to accurately measure and to translate between decimal and fractional forms. Ability to effectively use a calculator or computer to perform more involved calculations of multiplication, division, etc. Ability to reason logically and develop both practical and creative solutions to problems.
Analytical Problem Solving and Decision Making. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to identify unusual situations and take appropriate action. Ability to identify unusual situations and use critical thinking and problem solving skills to resolve the situation.

Employee will be working in a manufacturing area which has moving mechanical equipment, hazards associated with welding, airborne mists and particles, chemicals and loud shop noises. Employee may work in outdoor weather conditions.
