Location: Herne with substantial travel through region 40-50%

 

Kelvion's customer-centricity and innovation, sets it apart in the heat exchanger industry. With one of the most extensive selections of heat exchangers in the world, we are a well-known partner and brand in many industries, including transportation, energy, oil and gas, heavy industry, chemical and marine as well as sugar, food and beverage, HVAC and refrigeration technology, and Data Centers. Our products include Compact Fin Heat Exchangers, Plate Heat Exchangers, Single Tube Heat Exchangers, Transformer Cooling Systems, Cooling Towers and Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers. Reporting to the SVP Sales Northern Europe, THE VP Sales DACH, will manage a team of 90 sales and service personnel in the region ( Germany Austria Switzerland) responsible for order intake of 200m euro (25% of Kelvion global sales).

 

The role will take full ownership and responsibility for the customer strategy in the region maximising the opportunity for growth across all our vertical markets, and therefore we are looking for a truly transformational sales leader able to drive growth and motivate and lead a high performing sales team to deliver the strategy created as we continue to expand within this key market.

 

You'll have the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of cutting-edge products and solutions, shaping the response to the growing industry in the region. You'll collaborate closely with international cross-functional teams, utilizing your strategic thinking and creativity to develop and execute integrated sales campaigns, driving both the profitability and positive visibility of Kelvion in the region.

 

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Leadership and development of the sales and service teams in the DACH region
  • Delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual Order Intake, growth and profitability targets
  • Expansion of Kelvion market share in key vertical markets like Data Center, Hydrogen, Heat pump and Food & Beverage
  • Support of all key Kelvion Sales and Marketing programs designed to drive transformational growth and expansion of the Kelvion brand and revenue
  • Implementation of “in-development” Sales Training programs
  • Leadership of the expansion and full use of our CRM business information platform (K*ONNECT) within the area of responsibilities
  • Development of Field Sales, Inside Sales and Channel Partners
  • Development of our Sales Organization in the respective region
     

This role truly represents for the right person the opportunity to define and deliver sales growth within a key strategic market for Kelvion globally.

 

To be successful in this highly business critical role you will:

  • Experienced Leader focused on technical sales with a proven track record of managing sizeable sales and service teams in a medium-sized, international/global organization; preferably in mechanical / technical engineering Sales environment
  • Proven track record of leading a growing sales organization across multiple industries/ markets
  • Experience across DACH
  • Goal and target-oriented with experience delivering annual revenue targets in a competitive industry or market environment
  • Skills to effectively identify, manage, and close larger projects
  • Distribution experience
  • EPC process knowledge
  • Blend of hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic priorities with tactical engagement:
  • Able to work and lead in a matrix organization
  • Able to identify what needs to be improved but also providing proposed solutions
  • Having experience with Data Centers would be a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel as needed
