Power-Gen Europe is the leading European trade fair for power station engineering and power generation. As a powerful technology partner GEA Heat Exchangers is presenting in Cologne efficient heat exchanger solutions and will be featuring new heat exchangers and an innovative suction filter system in Hall 7/Stand 7A31. The modular design GEA Ergé Spirale & Soramat compact radiator for cooling diesel power stations, a model of a GEA finned-tube closed circuit cooler for the power plant industry as well as the GEA Delbag Pulse FilterCube suction filter system.

With these efficient product innovations GEA Heat Exchangers reflects the wide range of heat exchanger solutions available to the power generation industry and the FilterCube factory pre-assembled suction filter system is an innovative pulse filter specially designed for gas turbines, compressors and engines. The FilterCube is specially designed for efficient cleaning of intake air even with high dust-loading levels or in arid zones. The resulting dust cake is thoroughly removed using counterflow pulse-jet cleaning with compressed air. Depending on the air throughput required, several of these compact filter modules can be simply fitted either on top of one another or in a side-by-side arrangement to form a powerful unit.

Compact design with modular configuration, corrosion-proof and applicable for extreme environmental conditions – with the finned-tube closed circuit cooler GEA is introducing a generation of coolers, setting the benchmark in energy efficiency for the power plant industry. The innovative finned-tube geometry of the heat exchanger increases the thermal efficiency as well as the process reliability.

These units are extremely robust, highly efficient thanks to the high cooling capacity and the compact modular design makes it easy to tailor the units to optimum process requirements. The special technical feature of the GEA Ergé Spirale & Soramat compact radiators is the predetermined range of components to guarantee fast delivery times and minimize production costs, causing a sustainable reduction in investment costs for the customer. The compact radiators are reliable, simple to assemble, making them both durable and efficient. These are two demands that all air-cooled compact radiators from GEA meet to guarantee perfect cooling results even in the middle of a desert.
