Hospitals rely on having a comfortable environment for patient care. From accident and emergency departments and outpatient clinics to wards and theatres, effective HVAC systems are essential for aiding patient recovery and enabling staff to work comfortably and effectively.
The facilities management services provider at the hospital has worked with Kelvion for several years on a range of projects and knew they could rely on our Service engineers to look after the HVAC equipment.

On call
Because there are no back-ups, we are on call round the clock, particularly as some jobs can only be carried out during the night or at weekends. We have been called in to repair, retrofit and upgrade the HVAC components, including plate heat exchangers, air handling units and dry coolers, all of which were custom-built by another supplier.
More recently, we have been exchanging the plate packs on the heat exchangers. As these are not produced at Atherstone, the team was able to get supplies from Kelvion production sites in Europe.

Customer care
So satisfied were the facilities management company and the end customer that our two members of the Service team responsible for customer care were allowed to complete their ISO certification at the hospital.
