    A partnership in sustainability and innovation

    OVUM heat pumps are ideally suited to new buildings as well as renovations and score highly in SCOP (Seasonal Coefficient of Performance) and ETAs (Annual Performance Factor), with a value of 242%. 

    "We owe the efficiency of our heat pumps in part to Kelvion's high-quality plate heat exchangers. Their flexibility and performance enable us to develop products that meet the highest standards of sustainability and energy efficiency," said Florian Haidacher, Technical Manager at OVUM.

    Kelvion has so far supplied dozens of PHEs which are used as evaporators in ground source heat pumps, as condensers in air source heat pumps and as freshwater heat exchangers in Cube storage systems. These components are not only responsible for the high efficiency of the heat pumps, but also contribute significantly to the sustainability of the systems. OVUM uses natural refrigerants such as R290 (propane) to make a significant contribution to the energy transition.
