Inverter-controlled compressor-condenser units with heat-pump function
GEA Air Treatment Services replaces its successful compressor-condenser units by new models in the GCH range. The new, inverter-controlled systems can now also be employed as heat pumps. GEA GCH models, designed for commercial and industrial applications, are available now for selection.
The DX direct evaporators – equipped with fully hermetic scroll compressors and a finned tube heat exchanger as condenser – are connected to small and medium-sized ventilation units. This equipment range can provide heating and cooling duty throughout the entire year: between 11.2/12.5 kW and 28.0/31.5 kW, depending on design and application.
With use of the GCH compressor-condenser unit, additional buffer storage, water lines, and pumps are unnecessary, since the unit uses the evaporator of the connected ventilation unit: for example, the GEA COM4®plus central air-handling unit.
