Location: Shanghai or Beijing with substantial travel through region 40-50%

Our products include Compact Fin Heat Exchangers, Plate Heat Exchangers, Single Tube Heat Exchangers, Transformer Cooling Systems, Cooling Towers and Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers.

Reporting to the EVP Asia-Pac, The VP Sales China, will manage a team of 50 professional sales and service personnel responsible for managing the strategic growth of the order intake which currently 110m euro.

The role will take full ownership and responsibility for the customer strategy in China  maximising the opportunity for growth across all our vertical markets, and therefore we are looking for a truly transformational sales leader able to drive growth and motivate and lead a high performing sales team to deliver the strategy created as we continue to expand within this key market.

You'll have the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of cutting-edge products and solutions, shaping the response to the growing industry in the region. You'll collaborate closely with international cross-functional teams, utilizing your strategic thinking and creativity to develop and execute integrated sales campaigns, driving both the profitability and positive visibility of Kelvion.

 

RESPONSIBILITES

  1. Leadership and development of the sales and service teams in China
  2. Delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual Sales performance, Order Intake, growth and profitability targets
  3. Expansion of Kelvion market share in key vertical markets like Data Center, Food & Beverage, HVAC & Refrigeration, Power & Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Transportation and Heavy & Light Equipment
  4. Support of all key Kelvion Sales and Marketing programs designed to drive transformational growth and expansion of the Kelvion brand and revenue
  5. Implementation of “in-development” Sales Training programs
  6. Leadership of the expansion and full use of our CRM business information platform (K*ONNECT) within the area of responsibilities
  7. Development of our Sales Organization including Field Sales, Inside Sales and Channel Partners in China
  8. Collaboration with Heads of Application Engineering, Business Units, Marketing and Sales Controlling to ensure alignment for growth on all key product lines.

To be successful in this highly business critical role you will:

  • Experienced Leader focused on technical sales with a proven track record of managing sizeable sales and service teams in a medium-sized, international/global organization; preferably in mechanical / technical engineering Sales environment
  • Proven track record of leading a growing sales organization across multiple industries/ markets
  • Experience across China
  • Goal and target-oriented with experience delivering annual revenue targets in a competitive industry or market environment
  • Skills to effectively identify, manage, and close larger projects
  • Distribution experience
  • EPC process knowledge
  • Blend of hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic priorities with tactical engagement:
  • Able to work and lead in a matrix organization
  • Able to identify what needs to be improved but also providing proposed solutions
  • Having experience with Data Centers would be a plus
  • Fluent in English & Chinese
  • Willingness to travel as needed
