GEA specialists support young generation engineers
16. May 2012 GEA is actively contributing to the TRANSFORM network uniting European premium manufacturers in the field of power transformers which has existed for 15 years. Every 2 years, the specialists of this branch of industry meet at the internationally well-known TRANSFORM events in order to exchange the latest business news. Now this network has launched a new innovative event: From 27 to 28 June 2012, Berlin is the host city for the first TRANSFORM campus as a new platform for knowledge transfer between engineers. This seminar in particular aims at young engineers, newcomers in the industry and everyone wishing to intensify knowledge about transformers. GEA participates in the partner network with its Transformer Cooling Systems product range which ensures reliable and particularly efficient heat removal from oil-cooled transformers.
The speakers from all TRANSFORM partner companies and top-class external lecturers such as Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Tenbohlen (University of Stuttgart), Dr.-Ing. Michael Schäfer (EnBW), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Claus Neumann (formally of RWE/Amprion) and Dipl.-Ing. Karl-Heinz Häger (AREVA) guarantee a highly interesting program at the first TRANSFORM campus 2012 in Berlin.
