Refrigeration, air conditioning technology, heat pumps and hot water systems are set to benefit from Kelvion’s new plate corrugation for its largest Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger series, GB 1000. Called the M-corrugation, which stands for medium, it fits between the H version for maximum specific performance and the L version for low pressure losses.
Dairies, slaughterhouses, deep freeze warehouses are among the many large production and work areas that need to be kept at a constant low temperature. The latest addition to the Kelvion customized air cooler family does precisely that. CDK/CDL, the new dual discharge cooler range, with optimized fan speed, is the perfect solution for providing reliable climate control for instance in food preparation areas.
Keeping the world connected requires large amounts of power and creates
a lot of heat. In an increasingly environmentally-conscious world, how can data centers maintain a reliable, 24/7 operation and, at the same time save energy and reduce their carbon footprint?
Hydrogen fuel is considered to be an energy carrier with enormous potential. During 2020, nations and companies have pushed more funding than ever towards developing hydrogen. With K°Bond, Kelvion has set a stable course for the future in this important and promising industry. Hot on the heels of its recent entry into the French market for Hydrogen Refuel Stations (HRS), Kelvion received an order from Total Gas Mobility for K°Bond heat exchangers.
Kelvion is supporting the growing trend in the refrigeration and heat pump market towards more environmentally friendly refrigerants, with its newly integrated heat exchanger technology EQPipe.
AFX is the new Air Fin Cooler range for cooling operations in power and heavy industry, chemicals and petrochemicals as well as turbine and compressor cooling according to API 661.
Furthering their mission to facilitate and accelerate the transition to clean and efficient energy and mobility systems using hydrogen and fuel cell technologies across applications and sectors, Kelvion Thermal Solutions S.A.S. is pleased to announce its first contract with a French manufacturer of hydrogen refueling stations (HRS) using Kelvion’s diffusion bonded heat exchanger K°Bond.
District cooling stations, high-rise building cold supply or data center cooling - gasketed plate heat exchangers for these applications require peak performance in terms of heat transfer whilst withstanding high system pressure. The new Kelvion plate size NP250L is tailored to meet these requirements, thanks to an extremely narrow plate gap and a smaller pitch.
Kelvion has merged its pioneering, market-leading double tube safety technology with its compact fin system to produce the new ComFinSafety heat exchanger. This system, developed by our engineers from different product lines, offers major advantages for applications requiring high safety levels, combined with a compact design and, crucially, where the media properties are significantly different, such as oil cooling by water.
Kelvion has won a contract of approximately 9MEuro for the supply of several K⁰Bloc, Kelvion compact welded plate heat exchangers, to a refinery group in Asia. The units will support the group’s aim of increasing production capacity by 150% and reaching 360,000 barrels per day capacity as target of the modernization program.
