Sibur

SIBUR, one of the biggest Russian petrochemical companies, and Kelvion signed the 4th strategic cooperation agreement in Moscow. The cooperation between Kelvion and SIBUR started in 2010, and in 2011 the Russian division of Kelvion was already awarded with the "SIBUR’s supplier" badge of honor. In 2013 the companies signed their 1st strategic cooperation agreement.

During the cooperation, Kelvion delivered over 100 heat exchangers of various types for SIBUR’s productions, thus ensuring cost-cutting and impressive additional marginality. Most of the heat exchangers were produced at Kelvion's Russian production site using high-quality European components.

Joint efforts of the specialists of both companies and their early involvement into the implementation of the projects made it possible to optimize design solutions, which resulted in significant reduction of the capital costs for construction and improvement of operational efficiency of such plants as MAN SIBUR Tobolsk (production of maleic anhydride), DOTP production and reconstruction of styrene production at SIBUR-Khimprom JSC.

Successful experience in implementing joint projects, high level of trust and confidence in each other's professionalism became the basis for a new strategic cooperation agreement in the field of energy-efficient heat exchange technologies, which was signed at SIBUR’s headquarters in Moscow by the Commercial Director of Kelvion Mashimpeks A.Yarovikov and the Head of Production Support & Equipment Procurement of SIBUR A. Chebanenko.

SIBUR's policy is aimed at creating new industries with high level of innovation and operational efficiency in the Russian Federation. The strategic agreement with Kelvion - one of the world's leaders in heat transfer technologies - allows to ensure implementation of such projects at a high technological level, thanks to the availability of modern heat transfer solutions.
