Alternative to diesel generators
DASH is a containerised hydrogen-based energy storage solution that combines solid-state hydrogen storage with automotive-grade fuel cells. Designed for rapid deployment and minimal maintenance, the system offers an innovative alternative to conventional diesel generators.
Kelvion dry coolers are installed directly on top of the DASH Power modules. The coolers’ compact and modular design makes them ideal for containerised systems where space, durability, and mobility are key considerations.
Operating without water consumption and delivering low noise emissions, the dry coolers contribute to the overall efficiency and environmental benefits of the system – enabling silent operation in both urban and industrial environments.
Their rugged construction supports the system’s mobility, allowing the DASH Power solution to be deployed in a wide range of applications, including remote sites, data centres, industrial plants, and healthcare facilities.
Instant backup power and grid stability
DASH Power units are designed to deliver instant backup power during outages, replacing traditional diesel gensets that are noisy, maintenance-heavy, and emissions-intensive. But the system is also capable of more: in times of grid congestion or peak loads, it can support stabilisation by feeding electricity into the grid.
Its modular structure allows energy storage at the megawatt-hour scale within a single 20-foot ISO container, delivering up to 500 kW of output and offering rapid start-up and reactivity in critical situations.
“Kelvion’s experience in delivering high-performance cooling systems for demanding applications made them a natural partner for this project,” says the project manager at GRZ Technologies. “Their dry coolers perfectly complement our DASH Power modules and support our mission to deliver clean, quiet, and dependable power wherever it’s needed.”
The result
With the successful integration of Kelvion’s dry coolers, the DASH Power solution is now poised to support a wide range of applications – from backup power for critical infrastructure to supporting the energy transition through grid stabilisation and peak shaving.
