Engineer - Inside Sales

We are looking for candidate to support our channel and inside sales efforts for heat transfer products. This role focuses on assisting in customer engagement, supporting sales team, and contributing to business growth across assigned regions.

Key Tasks:

  • Support sales growth by working closely with channel partners and internal teams
  • Assist in executing sales strategies for designated segments

Company Specific Tasks & Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Support

  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and technical documentation
  • Support the field sales team with pre-sales and post-sales activities
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain CRM records, track leads, and follow up on opportunities
  • Assist in product demonstrations and presentations
  • Handle customer queries, objections, and provide technical clarifications
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitor offerings
  • Coordinate with product management, R&D, and operations teams to support customer requirements
  • If required engage with customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to understand technical requirements

Market & Business Support

  • Gather basic market and competitor information
  • Assist in analysing sales data, quote success rates, and customer feedback Key Performance Indicators
  • Contribution to order intake and sales pipeline
  • Customer engagement (meetings, visits, follow-ups as and when required)
  • CRM data accuracy and activity tracking
  • Quote-to-order conversion support
  • Timely coordination for order processing and delivery

  • Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Team player with a proactive approach
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus

Additional Competencies: 

  • Experience in the heat exchanger industry will be a strong plus.

Experience & Skills:

  • 5-6 years of experience
  • Basic understanding of industrial products or heat transfer systems is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / chemical engineering or related field
