Kelvion has secured a landmark contract supporting the next generation of artificial intelligence infrastructure in the United States. This contract further strengthens Kelvion's position as a key technology partner for hyperscale data center projects.

As AI adoption accelerates worldwide, the demand for computing power continues to grow at an unprecedented pace. This trend is driving record investments in data center infrastructure, creating new requirements for highly reliable, energy-efficient and scalable cooling infrastructure.

The project supports the development of large-scale AI data center capacity in the southern United States. With a total contract value exceeding $800 million, Kelvion secured the supply of 1000 Mega-Bay® dry cooler units scheduled for delivery throughout 2027.
Beyond the cooling equipment itself, Kelvion's scope includes supporting infrastructure elements, including structural substructures for the Mega-Bay installations, enabling an integrated approach to project execution. The deployment is designed to provide 5 GW of heat rejection capacity for high-density AI computing environments, where reliability, scalability and operational uptime are mission-critical.

“The rapid growth of artificial intelligence is creating infrastructure requirements unlike anything the industry has experienced before,” says Björn Stemmann. “Projects of this scale would have been unimaginable just a few years ago. But now, as computing power accelerates, so does the need for reliable, high-performance cooling solutions. We are proud to contribute at such an exceptional scale and support some of the world's most demanding data center applications.”

As investments in AI continue to surge, advanced cooling technologies will remain a critical enabler of future computing capacity and tomorrow’s hyperscale infrastructure.
