The Head of Service is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all service activities across one of the 3 regions for Kelvion. This role ensures the development of a high-performing service organization, drives service excellence, and supports the company’s growth by delivering superior customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the regional service strategy aligned with global business objectives.
- Expand the service portfolio and drive innovation in service offerings (e.g., service contracts, digital services, remote solutions).
- Identify market opportunities and support go-to-market strategies for service products.
Operational Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional service teams and local service managers.
- Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction across all regional markets.
- Optimize service processes, tools, and KPIs (response times, service levels, cost structure, efficiency).
- Oversee technician deployment, resource planning, and field service operations.
Business & Financial Responsibility
- Full P&L responsibility for the service organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships; lead escalation management when necessary.
- Manage and develop relationships with service partners and external contractors throughout the region.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Operations, Logistics, and R&D.
- Represent the service organization in global meetings and cross-functional projects.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership or the global VP of Service/Operations.
Requirements
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Several years of leadership experience in technical service, preferably in an international matrix environment.
- Strong knowledge of service processes, after-sales operations, and process optimization.
- Proven experience managing large teams and complex structures.
- Proficient in CRM and ERP systems.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
- High intercultural awareness and ability to work in diverse environments.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 20–40%).
Languages
- Excellent English skills (additional languages are a plus).
