This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to help shape the function from the ground up, working closely with senior stakeholders and leveraging deep in-house technical and commercial expertise.
Initially, the focus will be on building the M&A pipeline and evaluating acquisition opportunities aligned with the group’s strategic priorities. Over time, the role will expand into transaction execution and broader strategic analysis. The position reports directly to the Director of M&A.
Your Responsibilities

- Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities, including commercial, financial, and technical analysis in collaboration with internal teams
- Build and maintain financial models to assess opportunities, including valuation and scenario analysis
- Prepare high-quality materials and presentations for senior leadership and C-level stakeholders
- Assess strategic fit and value creation potential in partnership with commercial and technical teams
- Support transaction execution, including due diligence and coordination with external advisors
Your Profile
- 2–5 years’ experience in corporate development/in house M&A, strategy, investment banking, private equity, or boutique M&A advisory
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including valuation and scenario analysis
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- Background in finance, business, or a technical/engineering discipline; MBA is a plus but not required
- Commercial mindset with the ability to connect strategic, financial, and technical insights
How You’ll Work
- Structured and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across functions
- Proactive, curious, and able to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
What We Offer
- Hybrid working arrangements and flexibility.
- The opportunity to help build and shape an in-house M&A function from an early stage
- Hands-on exposure across the full M&A lifecycle, from origination to execution
- Close interaction with senior leadership and involvement in strategic decision-making
- A collaborative environment with strong learning and development opportunities
