De Rol

Als Inkoper / Besteller zorg jij ervoor dat onze productie- en serviceorganisatie altijd beschikt over de juiste materialen op het juiste moment. Je bewaakt voorraden, plaatst bestellingen bij leveranciers, volgt levertijden op en houdt nauw contact met collega's van productie, engineering en logistiek. Dankzij jouw proactieve aanpak verlopen onze processen soepel en kunnen we onze klanten op tijd bedienen

Je rapporteert aan de teamlead Operationele Inkoop en maakt deel uit van de Supply Chain afdeling. 

Kernverantwoordelijkheden
 

• Je stelt offerteaanvragen op, beoordeelt ontvangen offertes en bereidt leverancierskeuzes voor in overleg met de Teamlead operationele inkoop.
• Je plaatst bestellingen voor materialen en goederen in het ERP systeem en controleert orderbevestigingen op prijs, aantallen, levertijd en voorwaarden.
• Je bewaakt levertijden actief en neemt tijdig contact op met leveranciers bij vertragingen, ontbrekende bevestigingen of afwijkingen.
• Je stemt afwijkingen af met leveranciers en interne collega’s en ondersteunt bij factuurcontrole wanneer bestellingen niet overeenkomen.
• Je zoekt naar passende alternatieven wanneer bestaande artikelen niet leverbaar zijn, met oog voor specificaties, kwaliteit en prijs.
• Je archiveert inkooporders, orderbevestigingen en leveranciersinformatie zorgvuldig en houdt de administratieve processen actueel.
• Je signaleert verbetermogelijkheden in het inkoopproces en draagt bij aan leverbetrouwbaarheid, kwaliteit en efficiëntie.

Wie ben jij

• Je bent iemand die structuur aanbrengt, afspraken nakomt en graag schakelt tussen leveranciers en interne collega’s.
• Je houdt overzicht, werkt nauwkeurig en blijft rustig wanneer levertijden onder druk staan.
• Met je pro-active houding voorkom je verstoringen in het leveringsproces en zorg je dat de productie kan blijven draaien.
• Je hebt MBO 4 werk- en denkniveau, met minimaal 2 jaar relevante ervaring in inkoop, logistiek, werkvoorbereiding of een verglijkbare administratief-operationele functie.
• Je hebt ervaring met ERP-systemen, kennis van SAP is een pré.
• Je communiceert helder met leveranciers en collega’s, ook in moderne vreemde talen wanneer nodig.
• Je hebt oog voor kwaliteit, leverbetrouwbaarheid en een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

The Role

As a Buyer/Purchaser, you ensure that our production and service organization always has the right materials at the right time. You monitor inventory levels, place orders with suppliers, track delivery times, and maintain close contact with colleagues in production, engineering, and logistics. Thanks to your proactive approach, our processes run smoothly and we are able to serve our customers on time

You’ll report to the Operational Purchasing Team Lead and be part of the Supply Chain department.

What you will be responsible for

• You prepare requests for quotes, evaluate received quotes, and prepare supplier selections in consultation with the Operational Procurement Team Lead.
• You place orders for materials and goods in the ERP system and verify order confirmations for price, quantities, delivery times, and terms.
• You actively monitor delivery times and promptly contact suppliers in the event of delays, missing confirmations, or discrepancies.
• You coordinate discrepancies with suppliers and internal colleagues and assist with invoice verification when orders do not match.
• You seek suitable alternatives when existing items are unavailable, keeping specifications, quality, and price in mind.
• You carefully file purchase orders, order confirmations, and supplier information and keep administrative processes up to date.
• You identify opportunities for improvement in the purchasing process and contribute to delivery reliability, quality, and efficiency.

About you

• You’re someone who brings structure to the process, follows through on commitments, and enjoys coordinating between suppliers and internal colleagues.
• You maintain a clear overview, work with precision, and stay calm when delivery deadlines are tight.
• With your proactive attitude, you prevent disruptions in the delivery process and ensure that production can continue to run smoothly.
• You have an MBO 4 level of work and thinking, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, work planning, or a comparable administrative-operational role.
• You have experience with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• You communicate clearly with suppliers and colleagues, including in modern foreign languages when necessary.
• You have an eye for quality, delivery reliability, and good value for money.
