Finance Director (m/w/d)

Ihre Aufgabe:

• In Ihrer Funktion als Finance Director (m/w/d) tragen Sie die Gesamtverantwortung für die Bereiche Rechnungswesen, Controlling, Legal & Compliance sowie IT an unserem Standort.
• Dabei stehen Sie Ihren direkten Mitarbeitenden durch ihr sehr fundiertes Fachwissen jederzeit zur Seite und entwickeln diese weiter – sowohl die disziplinarische als auch die fachliche Führung liegt dabei für die 6 Mitarbeitenden in Ihrer Hand.
• Ebenso fungieren Sie insbesondere als Sparringspartner*in für unseren VP Operations rund um alle kaufmännischen Fragestellungen.
• Die Bilanzierung und Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen nach IFRS und HGB liegt in Ihrem Zuständigkeitsbereich. Sie tragen die volle Verantwortung für die Erstellung und den Inhalt der GuV (P&L), führen fundierte Margenanalysen durch und leiten gezielte Maßnahmen zur Ergebnisoptimierung ein.
• Sie initiieren und überwachen Cost-Saving-Programme, verfolgen die Maßnahmenumsetzung und analysieren deren Effektivität im Rahmen eines kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsprozesses. 
• Des Weiteren identifizieren Sie durch die tiefgehende Analyse der COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) Verbesserungspotenziale und wirken aktiv an der strategischen Verkaufspreis-gestaltung in enger Abstimmung mit Vertrieb und Produktmanagement mit. Dabei leisten Sie einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur Zielerreichung.
• Zahlen sind Ihre Welt: Daher sorgen Sie im Rahmen des internationalen Konzernreportings für eine transparente, präzise und fristgerechte Abgabe und Kommunikation. Ebenso führen Sie Ad hoc-Auswertungen und -Reportings durch.
• Auch bei Investitionsentscheidungen ist Ihre Expertise gefragt: Sie verantworten die Planung und Kontrolle von Investitionen, bewerten Investitionsvorhaben und begleiten Freigabeprozesse im engen Austausch mit den relevanten Schnittstellen.
• Darüber hinaus arbeiten Sie eng mit den Bereichen Einkauf, Vertrieb und Produktion zur strategischen Optimierung des Working Capitals zusammen. Sie entwickeln und implementieren außerdem wirkungsvollen Maßnahmen zur nachhaltigen Verbesserung des Chashflows.
• Unseren Wirtschaftsprüfern stehen Sie als zentraler Ansprechpartner stets zur Verfügung.
• Damit wir immer besser werden, optimieren Sie unsere Prozesse hin zu mehr Digitalisierung und Vereinfachung. Im Großen und Ganzen helfen Sie uns dabei unser Reporting und Controlling auf das nächste Level zu heben

Ihre Qualifikation:

• Sie haben ein betriebswirtschaftliches Studium erfolgreich abgeschlossen.
• Sie besitzen mehrjährige Erfahrung im Bereich Controlling/Finanzen und haben bereits über mehrere Jahre Führungserfahrung gesammelt.
• Sie verfügen über Kenntnisse der Bilanzierung nach IFRS / HGB sowie in der Kosten- und Leistungsrechnung.
• Sie kommunizieren wirtschaftliche Themen auf einem guten englischen Niveau in Wort und Schrift.
• Sie sind routiniert in der Anwendung der gängigen Office-Programme ergänzt um SAP-Kenntnisse (FI/CO, MM, PP, SD)

Your Tasks:

• In your role as Finance Director (m/f/d), you will have overall responsibility for the areas of Accounting, Controlling, Legal & Compliance and IT at our location.
• You will support your team with your strong expertise and take responsibility for both their disciplinary and functional development. You will lead a team of six employees.
• You will also act as a sparring partner for our VP Operations in all commercial matters.
• You will be responsible for accounting and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB. You will be fully responsible for the preparation and content of the P&L and will carry out well-founded margin analyses and initiate targeted measures to optimize results.
• You will initiate and monitor cost-saving programs, track the implementation of measures and analyze their effectiveness as part of a continuous improvement process. 
• You will also identify potential for improvement through in-depth analysis of COGS and actively participate in strategic sales pricing in close coordination with Sales and Product Management. In doing so, you will make a decisive contribution to the achievement of targets.
• Numbers are your world: you will therefore ensure transparent, precise and timely submission and communication as part of international group reporting. You also carry out ad hoc evaluations and reports.
• Your expertise is also required for investment decisions: you will be responsible for planning and controlling investments, evaluating investment projects and supporting approval processes in close cooperation with the relevant interfaces.
• In addition, you will work closely with the Purchasing, Sales and Production departments to strategically optimize working capital. You will also develop and implement effective measures to sustainably improve cash flow.
• You will always be available to our auditors as a central point of contact.
• You will optimize our processes towards more digitalization and simplification so that we can continue to improve. Overall, you will help us to take our reporting and controlling to the next level.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration.
• Several years of experience in controlling/finance and management
• Knowledge of IFRS / HGB accounting as well as cost and performance accounting.
• You communicate economic topics at a good level in written and spoken German and English.
• Experience in the use of common Office programs and knowledge of SAP (FI/CO, MM, PP, SD).
