The role:
- Today the Region Northeast and Southeast Asia have an Order Intake of 80 M€/year over year with significant growth. This position will be part of the Regional Sales & Service team reporting to the Vertical Market Director for Northeast and Southeast Asia. In this function we need an experienced manager with a clear strategic approach, highly growth oriented at expanding customer base in the O&G, Chemical and Power markets in a key global Region for Kelvion. The candidate will focus on working closely with our customers on site and building relations across this vertical market (VM). A proactive approach is essential to reach our demanding growth targets combined with professional business planning and reporting.
- In this position the VM Leader will be offering a high grade of responsibility to provide customer access to the application engineering experts across the Kelvion organization. Bringing in new customers and building relations with existing customers. Focus will be on field sales, acting as the face to the customer. The person will be a hunter instead of a farmer type.
- This position will be based in Malaysia, Indonesia or Singapore.
What you will be responsible for:
- Drive, own and generate sales service pipeline for both direct and indirect channel across the ROA.
- Develop & implement sales plans and key priorities to maximize sales services of heat transfer products across Kelvion installed base for instance spare-part, services, and repairment.
- This role is expected to also drive any replacement opportunities for non-Kelvion installed base
- Manage and develop to engage directly the targeted Key Accounts across the ROA including developers/end-users, EPCs/operators/contractors and relevant engineering consultants for relevant upselling or cross selling opportunites.
- Identify potential new accounts within the assigned customer base and develop strategies to penetrate these accounts.
- Collaborate with relevant solutions support functions, project governance and marketing to develop a solid solution & positioning strategy on Kelvion’s capabilities as preferred Cooling Solutions provider.
- Provide actual and punctual updates in CRM engagements funnel management, and forecasting.
- Identifies competitor strengths, weaknesses, strategies, and tactics.
- Monitors and recommends pricing strategies.
- Use available cost and thermal performance data to recommend a best fit solution that best fits Kelvion’s capabilities and customer requirements.
- Directs & prepares price quotations using established guidelines.
- Negotiate T&C with accounts and mediate discussions to an equitable solution.
About you:
- Well experienced O&G, Chemical and Power Sales Manager focused on technical sales with a proven track record and min. 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Able to work in a matrix organization.
- Able to drive both direct and indirect channel management for both greenfield and brownfield market.
- A Pioneering spirit and contributing to the building-up process of a sales organization.
- Team oriented, able to identify what needs to be improved but also providing solutions.
- O&G, Chemical and Power segment knowledge. Strong network for top O&G, Petrochemical or Power with key account management experience would be a strong plus.
- Experience in the heat exchanger industry will be a strong plus.
