Responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of materials, products, and information throughout the supply chain. This role ensures timely delivery, accurate inventory management, and cost-effective transportation while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling carriers and tracking deliveries
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure material availability and accuracy
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records in internal systems
- Work closely with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to support operational needs
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damages in a timely manner
- Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety requirements
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to ensure service expectations are met
- Prepare and review shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, invoices, etc.)
- Support cost control initiatives by evaluating freight rates and transportation methods
- All other duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
- Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); ERP or WMS experience preferred
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
