Accurately receives all deliveries to Kelvion Inc within Kelvion’s systems and perform inventory control functions and transactions in a fast-paced work environment. Conducts inventory counts, adjusts and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked within Kelvion Inc by performing the following duties:
What you will be responsible for:
- Issue stock materials used in all departments in Made 2 Manage (M2M) for the specific job order; review actual usage required versus the amount on the usage sheets.
- Perform M2M transactions in both Receiving and Inventory.
- Make sure necessary materials are issued with proper heat numbers. Distinguish material purchased to the job or inventory.
- Perform monthly inventory counts on inventory items and make adjustments in the M2M system as needed. Investigate and reconcile discrepancies including any negative balance. Have all issues made on materials used within the fiscal month before the end of that month.
- Must have computer skills and ability to cross-train in all areas of the shipping and warehouse departments.
- Ability to work with supervisor, department supervisors and purchasing regarding proper stocking levels and materials to be kept in stock.
- Follow company receiving processes and procedures, and complete accurate paperwork and transactions.
- Systematically receive all deliveries into Kelvion’s receiving system
- Complete proper receiving documentation with each Purchase Order.
- Work with shop departments on organization of stock parts.
- Item master maintenance to ensure accuracy of information on part #’s, stock vs. buy item, etc.
- Ability to work with engineering and production to improve accuracy of the pick list for materials used.
- Understand how inventory, material issues/movement relates to purchasing and accounting and utilize Made2Manage to its fullest extent with inventory information.
- Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department
- Ability to unload and load trucks with industrial forklift truck and/or assist with moving materials and products.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
- Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in bank reconciliation processes and experience working with multiple currencies and FX hedging strategies.
- High attention to detail with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and cash management platforms is an advantage.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience or training.
- Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
