Hot on the heels of its recent entry into the French market for Hydrogen Refuel Stations (HRS), Kelvion received an order from Total Gas Mobility for K°Bond heat exchangers.

District cooling stations, high-rise building cold supply or data center cooling - gasketed plate heat exchangers for these applications require peak performance in terms of heat transfer whilst withstanding high system pressure. The new Kelvion plate size NP250L is tailored to meet these requirements, thanks to an extremely narrow plate gap and a smaller pitch.
Kelvion has merged its pioneering, market-leading double tube safety technology with its compact fin system to produce the new ComFinSafety heat exchanger. This system, developed by our engineers from different product lines, offers major advantages for applications requiring high safety levels, combined with a compact design and, crucially, where the media properties are significantly different, such as oil cooling by water.
Kelvion has won a contract of approximately 9MEuro for the supply of several K⁰Bloc, Kelvion compact welded plate heat exchangers, to a refinery group in Asia. The units will support the group’s aim of increasing production capacity by 150% and reaching 360,000 barrels per day capacity as target of the modernization program.

Kelvion MCS (Machine Cooling Systems) sites Herne and Monzingen have been awarded the seal that enhances their creative and innovative research and development activities.
In brewing, the gap width of a heat exchanger depends on the type of beer being produced. Simple, top-fermented beers require coolers with gaps of around 3mm, which are too narrow for well-hopped varieties. The turbidity would unreliably pass the cooler and, in the worst-case scenario, lead to a complete blockage.
High performance and excellent heat transfer even at low temperature differences – these are essential requirements for heat exchangers in power plants, steel production and district heating and cooling network or for cooling data centers.
